About Journey to Your Plate

Journey To Your Plate is a bright and friendly half-hour television show that gives an overview of how a food item is grown, harvested, packaged, and delivered fresh day after day into stores all across the country. It’s amazing to think that asparagus grown in Argentina could end up on your dinner plate in San Francisco, but that’s exactly what happens!

Journey To Your Plate gives a fascinating insider’s look at the techniques that highly skilled growers and food distribution companies use to make sure that you get every sweet and succulent bite out of your blueberries, and that freshness, taste, color, and texture are preserved every step of the way from the field to your home.

In addition to showcasing your favorite foods, Journey To Your Plate gives great ideas about how to prepare delicious meals using the themed ingredient. Demonstrated by an executive chef, you’ll see tasty and simple recipes come to life and discover new ways to invigorate your dining experience.
